As a society, we own a number of items of technical equipment for sound, lighting and stage effects. We make these available to other groups and individuals under a hire agreement. The list of equipment is shown below.

Hire costs shown assume collection by you from Overton, in Hampshire. We may also be able to deliver the equipment if required.

All ODS hire is based upon client collection from our base in Overton, Hampshire. Transport to and from your chosen venue may be possible. ODS current mileage charges are as follows:

Five mile radius from Overton, £10
Up to Ten mile radius from Overton, £15
Up to Twenty mile radius from Overton, £25
Up to Thirty mile radius from Overton, £35
Up to Fifty mile radius from Overton, £50

We will always strive to keep our vehicle use to a minimum, however should the hire mean that one vehicle in physically incapable of safely transporting the required equipment and/or technicians, a further vehicle will be utilised and additional mileage expense charges will be levied as a result.

All mileage distances will be calculated using a UK motoring organisation website route planning facility.

The lamp looks like an old fashioned car headlamp however the lamp's system is very efficient, producing a high output beam generally oval in shape. The only beam control available is to rotate the lamp. Very popular for lighting pantos, music concerts, fashion shows etc where minimum set up time is available.	1000w	£5.00

	CCT Minuette long Click for more info CCT Minuette Z0602 Reflector Zoom Profile: 300/500/650W 21-36° A versatile unit used for medium-throw front of house positions, where hard cut off on the stage edge is required, or soft edge for merging of beams for on-stage wash. The two lens zoom system is adjusted by the heat resistant knobs under the front of the unit between 21° to 36° hard edge, the soft edge range is greater. This beam can be precisely shaped by use of the four retained (but removable when the cut out is engaged into the side extrusion) shutter blades, which have heat-resisting handles for ease of use. Optional accessories include a drop-in iris and, for gobo projection (patterns), a rotatable gobo holder. To give a "peaked" or "flat" beam, the lamp position is adjustable. It is equally at home on the stage of the largest theatres, a school drama stage, or lighting an exhibition. Its soft-edged controllable beam is very even and well defined. The fresnel lens has been specially designed for the unit and is very efficient. The large beam angle range from 18 - 57 degrees, and the optional accessory of a rotatable four-leaf barn door, gives complete control of the beam shape. The beam angle is adjusted by a heat resistant knob under the unit. Sliding this toward the lens increases the beam angle - away from the lens reduces it.
