Welcome to the website of the Overton Dramatic Society (or "ODS")! We are a small, friendly society based in Overton, in Hampshire UK. We've produced at least two shows per year since 1980. These days we conduct most of our rehearsals at the Overton Recreation Centre in Bridge Street, Overton, and our productions take place at St Mary's Hall, in the High Street. (Click for a map).
We're now on Twitter too...
Our current production is "Sweeney Todd - the Demon Barber of Fleet Street" - the brilliant stage musical now running in the West End. The show runs from May 22-26th 2012.
Our next production is: "Camelot - the panto" - readings/auditions will be held at the Overton Recreation Centre on Bridge Street each Tuesday and Thursday from 12th until 28th June 2012.

Camelot, the Panto |
We are delighted to announce that our Winter Production this year will be Camelot the Panto, written by Ben Crocker and directed by Jean & Jim Wheatley. The show will run from
Tuesday 27th November to Saturday 1st December.
This is a great family pantomime, set in Camelot and featuring a splendid array of characters in traditional panto style - with heroes to cheer and villains to boo!
This is a show that requires a large cast as there are twelve main characters and numerous cameo and chorus roles... As ever, ODS would be delighted to welcome new members, both on stage and off, so put the reading/audition dates in your diary, and come down to the
Overton Recreation Centre on Bridge Street each Tuesday and Thursday from 12th until 28th June 2012.
For more information, speak to Jim or Jean Wheatley, or contact the society’s chairman via email at chairman@ods-online.co.uk
